My 2017 JUNK Jeep Compass Trail Hawk
By First big car purchase | on Thursday, January 21, 2021
Purchased my new 2017 jeep compass trail hawk in December 2018 and before it hit 55,000 kms my jeep shut down while I was traveling in the middle of the night with no service to call for help, it said "service engine" and wouldn't move any further so I call roadside assistance which I'm fully covered for and they tell me it's ro far to pick up so I had to get it to the dealer myself ok no problem. I do that they check it over and call me to say they don't know that there is nothing wrong with it so I wasn't happy, asked them to check AGAIN they called back with a "leak in the transmition " but that my oil was down about 3 quarts ( had an oil change done 2 weeks prior to this ) so they made me get a new oil change and pay for this one to. I leave with my jeep expecting it to work perfectly only to have it shut down again and now it says transmition issues. I take it back they say nothing is wrong no leaks but my transmition fluid was down 2 litres so they topped that up and while I was there I got them to do my mvi and it passed no problem. I leave make it 45 mins and smell anti freeze. Now it's back at the dealer with 66,000 on it and they have no idea what's wrong and expect me to keep paying 550 a month for a car I can't use.… - 2.0
Lesser Model of not so much fun
By DadGuy | on Monday, July 06, 2020
The vehicle within 120,000 miles and 4.6 years of ownership has been more of a drag on life than a positive experience. Everything from ball joints, to transmission issues, even the sellers were terrible. Front end of the car needed to be redone as well as the rear, full bearings and hubs within 90,000 miles. The interior was poorly made and designed, its to tight in spots and material wise the seats ripped just from sitting in them, Selt belts barely click and the radio wasnt worth anything more than a clock. It looks like some sort of knock off kia but falls apart faster. No space for car seat toddlers and the cargo area is small. Overall the car is a dumpster fire.… - 4.0
